1. Design
Gate valve to DIN/EN or ANSI/ASME with butt weld ends, pressure seal design, billet-forged body, seat/disc interface made of wear and corrosion resistant Stellite, split wedge with flexibly mounted discs for precise alignment with the body seats.

2. Application
Industrial plants, power stations, process engineering and shipbuilding. For water and steam. Other non-aggressive fluids such as gas or oil on request.

1. Billet-forged steel design makes the body robust and capable of withstanding very high stresses

2. Reliable sealing to atmosphere

Compact pressure seal bonnet with metal-capped pure graphite gasket. Very low risk of leakage, particularly at high pressures and temperatures.
Graphite gland packing with packing end rings. Protection against oxidation by metal caps.

3. Reliable, tight shut-off and service-friendly design

Wedge holder with flexibly mounted split wedge. Precise alignment of wedge halves with body seat; wedge halves are easy to replace.
Actuating moments are absorbed by the wedge holder and guide ribs in the body.
Straightforward actuator mounting with standard DIN/ISO connection flange at the yoke head. No need to dismantle pressure-retaining components.

Standard stop nut limits wedge action, thus preventing jamming in the closed position. Reliable opening even in the event of temperature transients.
