1. Design

Service-friendly non-self-priming single-stage hygienic close-coupled pump in back pull-out design with magnetless KSB SuPremE motor of efficiency class IE4/IE5 and PumpDrive variable speed system. The pump features a semi-open impeller and electropolished surfaces. It is very easy to clean by CIP/SIP thanks to its almost complete lack of dead volume or narrow clearances. Its wetted components are made of 1.4404/1.4409 (AISI 316L/CF3M) stainless steel. Vitachrom is EHEDG-certified. All materials comply with FDA standards and EN 1935/2004. ATEX-compliant version available.

1. Suitable for hygienic applications

The zero dead volume design with excellent surface grades thanks to electropolishing and active flushing of the mechanical seal make the pump perfectly suitable for CIP/SIP.

2. Service-friendly

Easy-to-replace mechanical seal and straightforward retrofitting from single to double mechanical seal in tandem arrangement. Quick adjustment of impeller clearance at the casing via stub shaft with taper lock ring.

3. Easy on the fluid

Careful fluid handling ensured by polished surfaces, open impeller with wide free passage and smooth edges

4. Versatile

The pump shaft in separate bearings allows for connecting motors to different standards, including variable speed motors.

5. Energy-efficient

Variable speed operation in combination with KSB PumpDrive
When used in combination with the KSB SuPremE® motor, the pump achieves efficiency level IE5 to IEC/CD 60034-30 Ed. 2.
The KSB PumpMeter monitoring unit identifies the current operating point and measures all key data of the pump
