1. Design

Sturdy rotary lobe pump in hygienic design, bi-directional operation possible, horizontal or vertical orientation of connections. Hygienic design, highly CIP/SIP-compatible due to its almost complete lack of dead volume or narrow clearances. All wetted components made of 1.4404/1.4409 (AISI 316L/CF3M) stainless steel; various rotor types, shaft seals and process connections available. Installed as a pump set with geared standardised motor. Vitalobe is EHEDG-certified. The pump elastomers comply with FDA standards and EN 1935/2004. Accessories include trolley, heatable casing or casing cover and overpressure protection unit. ATEX-compliant version is available.

Hygienic and gentle handling of sensitive or high-viscosity fluids in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, the chemical industry and general process engineering.

1. Suitable for hygienic applications

Rotors and casing cover fastened without gaps and specially designed shaft seal ensure excellent CIP/SIP.
Pump casing separated from bearing bracket to avoid contamination of the fluid handled.

Connections may be positioned horizontally or vertically.
Bi-directional flow possible.
Different rotor types matched to the respective fluid to be handled.
Different process connections available.

3. Robust and reliable

Solid pressure-retaining and moving components.
Drive shaft supported on two tapered roller bearings and gear unit ensuring fully synchronised running of shafts make for long service life and avoid rubbing contact of rotors.

4. Adaptable

Thanks to the heatable casing, double mechanical seal, removal of residues and safety pressure relief valve the pump can be adapted to any application.
